COMMENTS: i was born in PAUNG ts village. All my relatives are MON. So i'm 1oo% MON. But socioeconomically reasons drive me to grow between burmese. Abut 75% of our village are inhabit by burmese immigrant. The former villager are migrate to Thailand border in order to solve their inadequate income. Only the elder and children are remain. Me also immigrate to Yangon for many reasons. To be honest i can only speak MON language. Neither reading nor writting. when i was yong there is no MON language school in our village. So i lack of MON knowledge. But i sure that i really proud to be a MON.One thing i want to suggest is that we should conserve our literature as much as we can and must train all MON generation to speak read and write MON language. Otherwise our languages are going to disappear within couple years. Although i can't read and write MON language, i accept myself as MON because i can speak fluently. The most important is we all should try together to save MON literature and to improve our MON socioeconomic status.
